In these crazy times, every Christian knows 2 Chronicles 7:14:
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
But what about 2 Chronicles 7:21-22, which states:
And though this Temple is impressive now, all who pass by will be appalled. They will ask, ‘Why did the LORD do such terrible things to this land and to this Temple?’ “And the answer will be, ‘Because his people abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and they worshiped other gods and bowed down to them. That is why he has brought all these disasters on them.”
Covid-19 isn’t going away and America is being destroyed from within, yet we know Christians are praying. We’ve been humbling ourselves for a long time, calling on the same of the Lord, begging him to heal our land.
What’s happening isn’t from a lack of prayer, but an abundance of kneeling to other gods.
Now, it’s time to ask ourselves what we’re bowing to:
A political party?
Political correctness?
An ideology?
A personality?
Sports team?
Money?
The stock market?
Hollywood?
Trends?
Social Media?
Cancel Culture?
Socialism?
Communism?
Marxism?
Fear of man?
Before we come to God with our requests, we need to make sure we first REPENT.
You can’t repent for something unless you realize you’re doing it.
Search your hearts to see if there’s any idolatry in you.
You must worship no other gods, for the LORD, whose very name is Jealous, is a GOD who is jealous about his relationship with you. Exodus 34:14
Before we can ask for God’s healing and blessings, we must rid our hearts of the duplicity of infidelity, to worship him, and him alone.
We want God to hear from heaven and heal our land, so it’s time we got off our knees, and stand up for our faith, by being FAITHFUL!
If we do that, it’s in his promise, and God cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18) so if we follow through, he will heal our land.
When God’s face shines upon us, America will flourish.
